Kota Kinabalu Old International Airport Terminal 2, 24 May 2024<\/em><\/strong> \u2014 The <\/strong>Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) performed a rigorous two-day Pilot Proficiency Check with Sabah Flying Club Pilots, led by Captain Rozemen Mohamad, the Principal Operation Inspector (POI) for Sabah Flying Club and Designated Flight Examiner (DFE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special thanks to Captain Albert James SFC HOT for his dedication and commitment to ensure the Pilot Proficiency Check (PPC) candidates successfully passed their flying check rides and oral test conducted by Captain Rozemen Mohamad Flight Operations Inspector\/Designated Flight Examiner (FOI\/DEF) CAAM on 24\/05\/2024 – 25\/05\/2024 at Sabah Flying Club, Kota Kinabalu. Commendable to Captain Albert James steadfast commitment, SFC received positive feedback from FPOI\/DFE CAAM on SFC asset (aircraft) is in good condition, training program commitment, discipline, compliance to CAAM and ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The check ride commenced with a briefing session at 7:30 AM on Friday, May 24, 2024. The schedule for the day included two flights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • First Flight (9:00 AM – 10:30 AM):<\/strong> Captain Effendi Jamaluddin and Captain Albert James HOT of Sabah Flying Club, accompanied by Captain Rozemen Mohamad (POI)\/(DFE)CAAM.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
