The Sabah Flying Club is organising a JoyRide at Kudat from 15 – 17 September 2011 at the Kudat Airport in conjunction with Malaysia Day and the Centenary Celebrations of the Civil Aviation in Sabah. The celebrations are being organised together with the Department of Civil Aviation, Sabah which will be officiated by YB Dato’ Rahim Bakri, the Assistant Federal Minister of Transport who is also the Member of Parliamentary for Kudat.
The Joyride is a charity drive which will involve 54 students from SK St. Peter, Kudat and SMK Kudat together with 15 teachers from the schools. The JoyRides will be held over 2 days from 6.30 a.m. until 4 p.m. depending on the weather conditions.
Other activities being orgainised are Exhibitions and Career Talks by the DCA Sabah and SFC.
